BMW has typically unveiled its most esteemed concept vehicles at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, but this year fans will want to keep their eyes on the BMW Villa at Pebble Beach during the prestigious Monterey Car Week. The automaker recently announced that it will be bringing not one, but two new BMW concept vehicles to the concours event starting on August 13.
Details are scarce at this point other than a cryptic teaser image, featuring enticing “Flash” and “Cool” steering-wheel buttons. Autoblog speculates, “The show cars are also likely to veer more toward the design-study end of the spectrum than previewing any specific upcoming production models, and we wouldn’t be surprised if the two arrived as a matching pair of sorts.”
It’s also likely that Designworks, the BMW studio based in California, is contributing to at least one of the concept models. However, at this point the BMW of Freehold team is keeping our minds open when it comes to what to expect. What do you want to see in the new BMW concepts?
